David R Sargeant - Director of Client Services / ComplianceBorn 10th January 1947 in the UK and raised and educated in Lancashire in North West England and an Associate of Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) since 1978 and full Member Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (TEP) since 1998.

Started working life in retail banking with District Bank Limited in the North West of England back in 1966 and transferred to Trust and Estate Administration work in 1969 with what was National Provincial Bank Limited and subsequently National Westminster Bank PLC.

Thereafter had 18 years experience in Trust Branches of NatWest Bank up and down the UK from Hull on East Coast to Manchester on West and to London and Bournemouth gaining full experience of all aspects of trust and estate administration and asset management.

In 1987 went into the offshore financial industry starting in the Bahamas and to Isle of Man, and Channel Islands gaining valuable experience of the workings of different offshore jurisdictions and ending up now in Anguilla.

Before ending up in Anguilla worked for 14 years in the Cayman Islands with the likes of Bank of America and Bank of Bermuda in positions from Trust officer to Compliance Officer and MLRO.

Along the way before returning to Anguilla for a second time to current position, spent a year in Dubai as Compliance Officer helping to set up and obtain a license for the first wholly Sharia compliant and operating Trust Company in UAE and Middle East.

Experienced in all aspects of Offshore Trust and Corporate Administration and since 1998 worked in a Compliance role in Cayman, Guernsey, Dubai and Anguilla.

Outside of financial services enjoyed some 16 years experience and service in the UK Territorial and Volunteer Reserve Forces of the UK and was commissioned at Sandhurst Military Academy and rose to the rank of Captain in the Royal Engineers.
