The Anchor Fund
The Anchor Fund was incorporated with limited liability in Anguilla on the 8th day of May 2002 under the provisions of the Companies Act, (Revised Statutes of Anguilla 2000, Chapter C65). It is an open-end diversified investment company with limited liability.
The investment objective of the Fund is long-term capital appreciation, which it will seek to achieve through a flexible policy of investing in stocks and debt obligations of companies and government of any nation. Hence the Fund is designed for progressive growth and not boom or bust.
In a world where investment conditions change rapidly, not only from company to company and from industry to industry, but also from one national economy to another, this objective is more likely to be achieved through an investment policy that is flexible and mobile. Accordingly, the Fund will seek investment opportunities in all types of securities issued by companies or governments of any nation, usually common stocks, although preferred stocks and certain debt securities, rated or unrated, such as convertible bonds and bonds selling at a discount without restricting the numbers of companies any nation in the securities of which the Fund may invest, subject only to the restrictions dealing with the concentration and diversification of the Fund's investments. It will not be investing in tobacco, spirits, gambling or weapons of war companies.
