First Anguilla Trust was established in 1995 and is wholly owned by the partners of leading Anguilla law firm Webster Dyrud Mitchell. From a small beginning First Anguilla Trust has grown to become one of the largest trust companies on Anguilla and has established professional relationships with many international service providers including banks and investment advisors.

As well as being one of the foremost service providers on the island, First Anguilla Trust is prominent in promoting the financial sector and is assisting in the promotion and drafting of new legislation through its close involvement in the Anguilla Financial Services Association ("AFSA"). Through its association with AFSA, First Anguilla Trust also helps to promote best practices in Anguilla in the field of self regulation.

As the financial services industry develops, First Anguilla Trust has the capability to provide expert management, control and administration of innovative structures, including all types of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs). The Foundations Act making provision for such vehicles was enacted as law in July 2008.

First Anguilla Trust's expertise in the area of corporate administration extends to structured finance and securitisation, collateralised debt obligation transactions ("CDOs"), repackaging, note and paper programmes, and ship and other asset financing.
